Toploader Sheet Music
Toploader were an English alternative rock band from Eastbourne, formed in 1997. They are best known for their cover of King Harvest's song "Dancing in the Moonlight" (which was featured in the film A Walk to Remember), a remix of which (the "Radio Edit" remixed by StarGate) reached the Top 10 in the UK Singles Chart.
In 2000, Toploader was a popular act in British music, but their popularity declined swiftly as bands such as Coldplay and Muse began to lead the changing 21st century music scene. The band split up in 2003, by which time they were very much out of the public eye. Their name refers to the older style of home video recorder that loaded it's tapes through a cage that would rise out of the top of the unit to then be pushed back down to load. hence, top - loader.
Band members:
Joe Washbourn – Vocalist, keyboardist
Dan Hipgrave – Guitarist
Julian Deane – Guitarist
Matt Knight – Bassist
Rob Green – Drummer
